Oh my! The best, juiciest roast lamb I’ve eaten, divine curry puffs, amazing marinated fish salad, groovy Viet chicken coleslaw, buttery choc chip cookies – and a whole bunch of very cool people with a particularly noteworthy singlemindedness about right and proper topics for conversation. Many thanks to the organisers and for all the time they put in!

WOW Kenny!! Super quick post!
Thanks for coming along today great to meet you 🙂

Really, truly … I’m already looking forward to the next one. I’m real new at this, so am a little bemused to find myself gleefully embroiled in the social aspect of the food blogging scene. But I felt right at home. I’m even inclined to think of my fellow attendees as my brand new family, my brothers and sisters of food blogging. Except that would be a lie. Given I was clearly and by some way the oldest geezer there, “nieces and nephews” is probably far more accurate!

Thanks for coming along Kenny and bringing your crescent biscuits. And age is no factor, it’s how passionate you are about food that counts. I sure we’ll see each other at more food events in future.
