  1. That Paul Prudhomme cover is a CACK! The crazy sausage skirt!

Can I make a CTS recipe request please – your muesli recipe? My kids have gotten into it and I am sure you will be disappointed to hear I have been buying it ready made. I know I could just mix up oats and sultanas but feel I’m missing a certain je ne sais quoi.

  2. Sure thing! Pre-made muesli is death, but it’s pretty cool your kids are getting into it anyhow. I’ve switched Bennie from Weetbix to B&G cornflakes. I’m so used to my own mix that it feels a little weird if I have to go without. After several years of nothing but, It has really made a difference to my own health and wellbeing – and balances out some of the more, ahem, suspect exotica we get into when out and about. I’ve just bought half the makings for a new batch and will score the rest in a day or so – will make a proper post out of it then.

  3. Was it Cicero who said, “to add a library to a house is to give that house a soul”?

For years I have been having a quick squiz at folk’s bookshelves to get to know them better. Your Indian books look interesting.

  4. Glad to see the old Edmonds Cookbook is still hanging in there.

Looking forward to the museli recipe too. I have just got into making my own – rather later in the day, I know.
